Decal and flame removal off 250r 06'

anyone have pics of the aftermath?

also whats the best way to get the decals off? has clear been sprayed over them or will a heat gun get them off?

let me know because im starting to want to make some changes to my bike before i hit the town on it.

 

I just took the lower flames off mine.



I think heatlamp would help fine, i did the half of my bike facing away from the sun, and it took a long time.

then i did the sunny side and everything just peeled right off.

get a label peeler or knife (if you have a steady hand) and some goo-gone for the remaining gunk.. don't rub too hard or you'll take the clearcoat off. Use a white towel or paper towels and you'll be able to tell if your paint starts to come off, dont' rub that hard

there is no clearcoat over the logos except for the kawasaki lettering. the flames are just stickers.

 

damn! I wanted to take it all off. i like the clean look FTW
