I have heard using a blow dryer will help get decals off the bike and get some 3M Goo be Gone to get the residue off or I have found that Plexus will get residue off if you let it sit on the area for about 30 seconds.

I've just heard of a heat gun or hair drier i suppose, and lots of goo-gone, and peel SLOWLY and bend the sticker all the way back almost flush to the body when peeling, it won't leave as much stickiness from my experience, then again it could depend on conditions, humidity and crap.... but i suppose that's getting a little technical for removing stickers...

if its on a painted surface, use wd-40 to get the residue off only after you peeled the sticker off and tried to kinda slap the sticker on the area that has the glue left on it and pull it off. dont use goo gone on paint !

Might sound crazy, but after using the hair dryer, I used lighter fluid - I dunno the little yellow plastic bottle. It actually has "removal of stickers" as one of it's uses on the back. A buddy recommended it - did a great job, with zero damage to any paint. Whatever you use, make sure you wash off the bike afterward.

my buddy used goo gone to remove some of the emblem tape and it dulled out the paint and left runs wherever it was applied, nothing some compound and wax didnt fix but after seeing that, i figure if you left it on long enough, it would probley of eaten through the paint. stuff messed up a spot on my skateboard trying to get the protective crap off the bottom too.
