what is the easiest way to remove a clear alternatives tail light from the tail so i can install a new one? Would removing my after market muffler allow me to slide it towards the front of the bike and down to get it out? Or do I have to undo the whole tail section to get adaquate space for getting it out?

 

something like this should do it

 

tail off and it is two allen screws unter the plastic.

1. side black covers under the tank
2. alen heads for the seat
3. remove back seat/cowl
4 two side tail allens
5. two top allens that were covered by front seat
6. one side allen on other side
7. two allen heads covered by rear seat
8. along left side (when sitting on bike) inder tail there are 3 black plastic rivits. pop them though themselves to release
9. pry tail from front and pull up, should teeter totter on tail supbframe
10. two allten heads holding tail light in place

if you are replacing the tail light rememebr the black piece of spacer on the top side of the oem light. if you dont swap that over than the tail light will flop inside the tail
