Ok so just a quick question. Do I really need to lift the gas tank to connect a battery charger? Thanks

If you take your time and truely are dedicated to being lazy, you could sneak a small alligator clip in there and reach the positive terminal, just make sure to take off the cover. The negative is right there, so that's nothing hard.

OR

You could just unbolt the bolts on the side of the tank, the one up top on your tank cover (plastic), and just lift it up.
