butterflys on the exhaust and intake??

butterflys on the exhaust and intake??

i noticed that they were on there and was wondering if i take them off will it hurt anything make my bike run odd or will it help with power becuse of less restriction?? by the way it is a 2005 636 any info would be great

theres tons of threads on this, try the search button. but just to answer the q, not enough for you to tell... you have to take it off when you put aftermarket exhaust. MAKE SURE you put the piece on the servo motor to make FI light go off.
