Default Brake Pads

Hey, what a better place to ask right???

I am need of brake pads for the front of my bike. My question to all of the wise folks around here is, What kind of pads do I put on the front???

I have seen these Sintered pads advertised but have no clue what is the differance between these and regular semi metallic pads?? Done a bit of poking around online and havent came up with squat.

Also any brand recomendations would be sweet.

EBC, Galfer, Ferodo etc. I still have stock ones on my bike so I can't say which other brand is better. I'm sure the ones I mentioned stopp better but won't last as long as stock ones which stop good enough for me even on the track.
