In my opinion they ruined the ZX6r in 07-08. I can't stand the looks of the front fairing and dropping the CC's to qualify for the 600 class (I think) was a big mistake. Why not ditch the 650e model and make a completely different bike. I hope they bump up the ZX6r to like 750 in 09. That picture in the French mag looks sick as hell.

 

I went the other day while I was at the shop and sat on some 08's the zx6r will def be my next bike, But im not sure what the 09 looks like and I really like the looks of the 08.. Anybody have a link for the 09

lol i see a 05-06 zx6r tank and front fairing
07-08 zx6r tail without pipe
08 ducati 1098 headlights
08 suzuki mirrors
and a 06 z1000 shorty pipe

That does look more like a custom then a new bike

the 03-04 is the best looking front end. then they should bring back 636cc engine or a 750 class back.

im wating for the return of the zx7r an 09 7r would be the ****

 

technically my bike is more a 7r than a 6r i guess, by the wird way the do the names.

lol maybe ill just slap some 7r decals on the bike
