ok so now that the forum is fixed here is my original post, please consider this the first in this thread

so damit i had a nice long thing about this but the damn bugs killed all my writing....
anyhow ill write it again
so we are comming onto that time of the year where we are blessed with a new model of bike, every two years we are seeing a complete redo in the body and sometimes the eninge of this iconic bike.
where do you think kawi is going to go with the 2009 model. are they going to have a MOTO GP exhaust instead of the undertail? are they going to have a "break away" subframe like the new 10r?
im curious if anyone has seen pics or head anything yet.
personally i think there are only TWO possible directions they can go with the bike:
1. Smooth and curvy like the 08 250R
2. Angular and agressive like the 08 ZX10R
i think that they are going to go twords the 10r just becasue they know and we know that the 250 is geared more twords the new riders and they want something that is going to look good.
the 10r and the 6r are more twords the expierienced and capable riders so i think they are going to try to keep them looking somewhat simmalar.
few things i would like to see is:
1. a fairing tail light
2. front fairing turn sigs, not mirror sigs.
3. back to a digital tach, i know i know guys analog but after having the digital one on the 06 for two years i love it lol
sorry if i jumped the gun on this guys but i am really getting curious, the 10r guys got thier new bike now it is our turn.

 

well i REALLY hope that they use both freakin headlights for highs and lows. this cyclops idea is the $hi7s. oh and the taillight like the 05's and 06's would be much better than that "thing" hangin off the rear of the bike. as for the rest of the bike i dunno, i LOVE my 07 i hope they don't change it too much. i do not like the moto gp exhaust, the idea of itegrated blinkers in the mirrors is cool but i really like the signals on the fairing. anyway, just my $1.50 lol.

 

well take a look at mine, i have signals integrated in the fairings and the mirrors, best of both worlds.

as for the tail light just replace the 07 tail light with LED flex lights along the tail section, we have a post for it already

the headlights, just pm speed and he will hook you up with the dual set up.
