Idol speeds

What is the idol speed suppost to be? I have noticed that after replacing some things and a tune up my idol is higher than what it used to be.

What did you do during the "tune-up?" Adjust any screws (carbs?) Adjust any throttle linkage?

Changed the oil, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, adjusted the clutch, had the valves adjusted. Think that was it.

Might sound dumb, but youre sure you have the choke all the way down?

Yes its not up real high from where it was. I was just curius. 1500 rpm's used to be just under 1000.

If you adjusted the valves, it's also a good idea to synchronize your carburetors.
