'94 500 - Center stand lift bar
My '94 500 doesn't have the lift handle on the rear-left side of the bike like my '03 did. I tried to grab it and I grabbed just the rear fairing!
I've had the seat off doing maintenance so I've been using the bar that crosses the frame just in front of the rear wheel. But with the seat on, what's the best way to get the bike on the center stand?

Huh? None of my 500's have had the lift-handle. ('01, '02 & '06). Both of my fathers' Concourses had them (98 & 06), but I've always just grabbed the horizontal beam of the passenger footrest.
Good luck and I'd like to see a pic of a 500 with one of the handles.

See the horizontal beam just ahead of the passenger footpeg? That makes an efficient handle for you poor guys who aren't fat enough to launch the bike up by simply stepping on the centerstand:

the way i get it up is with viagra. lol seriously though, i sit on the bike, put my foot on the centerstand and push it down until it hits the ground, then pull the bike back and stand up on it. pops right up.
