Default Front Rotor

I am replacing my warped front rotor and have the new one on order. In anticipation of making the change I removed the front wheel and got the rotor off - Jeez that was a tough one! I needed a breaker bar to get the bolts out. Now I'm wondering how can I affix the bolts again when the new rotor arrives - it seems like there was some heavy duty form of lock-tite on the threads or something - VERY difficult to remove and I want that for the replacement so the bolts don't shake themselves loose!

Anything in particular I should use on the rotor bolts when bolting on the new rotor?

I would use the Threebond high-strength, permanent type. Any motorcycle dealership or shop should have it.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Peace!

Thanks! I'll try to find some of that. Looks just right.

I have always used the blue locktite. Had to check my closest manual to confirm, which was the 10r manual, it says to use a non-perm thread locker. Just make sure to tq per your manual.
