I don't know anything but I bought mine with a full muzzy exhaust and it sounds pretty sweet...and it makes it a lil lighter. You lose the center stand and you have tho make some alterations to get the lower fairing back on...

I agree with Chin, I have a full muzzy as well, and it rocks! Make sure if you add a full muzzy though, you also throw in a stage kit, or you will be poppin and losin gas mileage, as with any aftermarket exhaust. Good luck with your search!

I have the Aluminum Sarachu's. They are a simple slip-on so no cutting of the fairing or any modificationslike that. No need to change your jets either. Sound is pretty nice without being too loud.

I got my bike used with a full Muzzy and I like it. In my opinion it gives the bike a beefier sound, it doesn't seem to whine as much.

i'm going to disagree. my '01 has kerker slip-ons that are VERY free-flowing. while yes they do pop, i do NOT lose gas mileage (in fact, i get on average 61-62 mpg). stock carb settings are best, save for maybe a pilot screw adjustment.

^ agreed. plus the popping can be fixed with some rerouting of your air hoses.

slip ons and full systems are two different things. Just remember that... Plus it never hurts to put a stage kit in for better HP...

Actually, you DO get something from aftermarket exhausts. Remember, engines are gas, airflow, and spark. Depending on the correct mixture of those three things, you can increase your performance significantly.(Displacement is another item, but we're talking exhausts here; not why bigger bikes go faster.)
