Default 2 in 1 exhaust conversions

Has anyone switched out their duals for a 2 in 1 conversion? I know jardine makes a sweet one. If anyone has, how much of a difference is there? Can you tell any horsepower gain?
Also, i was wondering if it would sound a bit meaner if i drilled out the baffles out of the stock pipes? Or just sound like a loud four stroke?

i have a vance and hines. its fairly loud. dunno how it really sounds when im driving by, but i think its loud as i ride.

as for horsepower gains, forget about it.

there are two ways to make the EX500 faster. lose weight or learn to corner better.

(ok 3 ways... you could bore and stroke it)

Depends on your useage. Generally by getting rid of the crossover, you may lose your torque in certain areas. Not sure on the power curve of these rides so cannot say much on this topic.
