Default 17 tooth front sprocket

Is there a Kaw 17 tooth front sprocket that will fit on the 500? I'm pretty sure I've heard of it but couldn't find it on the search.

ps CC how is that new rear shock?

OK it's embarassing, it says 16T right on it! [:@]

So much is diassembled on the bike right now that a change would be easy. Yes you all are correct, I don't know how many teeth are on this bike, I got confused. Anyway I'm looking to go up 1 tooth on the front.

Are you looking to gain top speed or to accelerate faster? Because if want to gain top speed than go up a tooth but to accelerate faster go down one tooth in the front.

I have the 17th tooth front sprocket and just havent put it on yet, Im not sure what brand it is but if you dont find one I will have to find it and look at it, Im in the process of moving right now so Im really not sure where it is.

I do know this, when I ordered it, it was immediately put on backorder. Because the order was taking so long I finally told them screw it, they credited what I paid for and I just bought some new gloves. Oddly enough the company shipped it anyway after about 4 or 5 months, and one day at the shop they were like hey man we have your sprocket, and I was like wtf are you talking about..................... so who knows, but I have it now and am just waiting to try it out.

I also tried the 15 tooth for more low end torque..................didnt like it at all

When it's not winter the 400 milestowork, on the super slab, commute takes precedence. I'd like to try the 17T to see how that effects the mileage. I don't think it will effect me that much on the fun rides on the weekends. I'm not in a position where the bike was the slow part of the ride.
