Nice... I'm torn between this and a Ninja 500 for my wife. I keep telling her to get the 500, because she has a Vulcan 500 and I think she would get bored with a 250 pretty quick. But she still wants to go down to a 250.

OK i have another noob question for you all,
most of the time I ride at about 40-55mph around where I live, but yesterday it was late at night coming back from school and the highway looked pretty empty so I decided to venture out on it, then I was traveling north to south the bike did ok but then road shift and I was traveling east to west.
When I was traveling east to west at around 70mph the tail of the bike seemed to start hopping all over the place, the best way I can describe is it felt like the rear tire was wobbling, I slowed down and it seem to go away, then I don’t know if I was nervous or what but then the front seemed to wobble a bit (but this just may be me, I was a little freak out), oh yeah then I saw an eighteen wheeler coming close to me and I ran away, I was afraid of the possible draft, but did not notice anything then

So my question is was this caused by the wind, or should I check something else out.?

Oh, I came home and checked all the bolts in the wheels, and checked the disk brakes to see if they had warped or something, and yeah I was coming home from school so I was wearing a rather large heavy backpack, I am doing my masters so I spend a lot of late night there. Thank you all

also could this have been the road ?

Congratulations on your new ride

More than likely its the stock tires, they tend to follow the grooves and imperfections in the road. They are also not very sticky so in turns and corners you need to be aware of that. Not that you should be taking them hard, but in the event of a misjudgement, like entering toofast, they may get you into more trouble.

The bike itself is remarkably stable at 70+ mph even for an '03 like mine. I have Metzler Lasertec on the back and pirelli MT75 on the front. There are several others to choose from as well.
