I like it. You'll need to glass the backside of the fairing for the mirrors, but do-able. Nice color selection, it's different and that's good. 
You are not lowering it just for looks, are you? I don't think the suspension will work very well if you lower it, it's already not a strong point.

You can lower the front end. Just need 36MM clip on's and the front fender will probably need to be removed. Check out this website for some more info:

I found these at Dennis Kirk. I think that I am going to put these on the wife's 250 after I get the Avon viper stryke tire mounted(which should lower the bike about a 1').
