I like it. You'll need to glass the backside of the fairing for the mirrors, but do-able. Nice color selection, it's different and that's good. You are not lowering it just for looks, are you? I don't think the suspension will work very well if you lower it, it's already not a strong point.

You can lower the front end. Just need 36MM clip on's and the front fender will probably need to be removed. Check out this website for some more info:

I found these at Dennis Kirk. I think that I am going to put these on the wife's 250 after I get the Avon viper stryke tire mounted(which should lower the bike about a 1').

ORIGINAL: bryancoughlin

my chicks #1 complaint about her bike is the fact that her feet barely touch the ground. she also dislikes the look of the front end. she says it looks too much like a dirt bike. so yea in her case its a bit of both. right now im trying to find someone whos successfully lowered the front and see if it worked for them. as for the suspension, ill probably have to shorten the springs and use some sort of noncompressable pipe so to harden the suspension. and what do you mean by 'glass the backside'? fiberglass? sry new to the term.
Correct - fiberglass. I am assuming (always dangerous) that you were proposing to relocate the mirrors from their original mountingpoints. Todo this, you'll have to reinforce the fairing wherever you end up with the new mounting points as the plastic is not strong enough to support those mirrors. Where they are at right now the plastic has been structuredfor that task.
