Got the word today from the horse's mouth, Mr Blue himself. Re my confusion about the TM34: It's only a TM33 that Bill works with, then converts it to a 34mm. That's why it's sometimes called a TM34. The Mikuni TM34 is actually a non-pumper carb. Also, the TM36 does work as I said, but gas mileage is very poor. Bill says 50 mpg vs around 70 to 75 with the rebuilt TM33.
