Hey, thanks alot guys. I appreciate the input. I've got a little "extra" padding so I thought the 250 would be too little. I've trying out everything I can find. The KLR 650 just kinda fit.

Deej is going to hate this, but personally I wouldn't use a dual sport for a 50 mile each way tarmac commute, however much fun they are on dirt roads.

They're too tall, too upright to be comfortable for anything more than a few minutes at high speeds, and look silly with a screen. Commuting without some weather protection - a screen is the minimum - isn't a particularly good idea. You may also want to think about some luggage. Dual sports aren't particularly tank bag friendly and are affected more than most pure road bikes if you take the most convenient option of a top box.
