Hello, looking to buy a complete Muzzy system for my 09, klx250s today. When I install it will i need to rejet it right away or can i run it as it is and jet it later?? I can put anything together but have never jetted a carb.

Sure if you want to run your bike so lean it will damage it so you can buy the BB big bore kit, pumper carb and whatever else got fried! Sounds like a great plan to upgrade to me!

Upgraded my exhaust and had a two week wait for the dynojet kit. Wanted to ride the new bike so I slapped in a 125 main. Didn't seem quite right so I checked the plug and sure enough it was near white and running lean. That's after about 50 miles of riding. So I let it sit until the kit came. Now the plug is a nice golden color and runs great.

 

.....my local kaw. guy got me a moose racing jet set.. cant wait to put this together.. thanks
