OK, this is a well known ebay tactic. If they make the price lower, it attracts more buyers. But they just increase the price of the shipping to make it the same price as all the other similar listings. It's a bit deceiving, but it surprisingly works. I know a few times I accidentally bought something cuz it was a good price, and forgot to look at the shipping charge.

A dingo stole my gear lever!

Might have to ask the West Aus guys about dingos, we dont get them down here we get drop bears.

Ebay purchases are best approached with lots of caution. A lot of items are sold at cost so, only the shipping mark up has profit.

For what it's worth, shipping for me within the USA has gone up a lot recently.

I've used BTO Sports and BikeBandit. Even with shipping the stuff came out less than half price than the stores here in Perth. Bike bandit even added import tax (bastards) still cheaper than AUS though. BTO sports were the best IMHO. Efficient service and no import tax.
