Default Another Expensive Summer!

Well, I was just reading an article about gas prices this summer. They are talking of having another $3 per gallon summer.

Thank goodness we all own bikes, huh?

[sm=rant.gif] OMFG, we are getting F*cked again.
The oil companies are the only business in the world that are allowed to always make a profit no matter how much the produce or how little. If you were told you could make the same amount of money by working less, would you?

That is exactly what they do, if a refinery goes down for maintenance, they make less gas and therefore are allowed to raise prices to make up for the lose. Why work harder to produce more product to sell it for less. Produce less product and sell it for more. That is just good business sense, but they are making the worlds populations suffer.

Could you see the supermarkets doing this, or a service based company.
I wish when one of my service vans broke down or was in for maintenance I could raise my prices to make up for the loose.

I could write a book on this, others have. Look at Arco’s or Exon’s profit reporting for the last 2 years. It is up far above normal.

Well all we can do is keep buying the Vaseline, or not for those how like it rough. We are luckier than our friends in Europe that have been paying well over 4-5 bucks a gallon, thats how it converts from per liter, for years.

F%CK THE OIL COMPANIES for sticking us and our government for letting them. I would bring up BUSH and oil but that is a whole other book.
