Why is my KLX250s hard to start after it sits for more than a few days?
This is a very old issue "solved" at least 10 years ago.. I recently read one of Deej's old threads where he experimented until he found the solution - Fuel left in the bowl a few days or more.. History, love it or repeat it..lol

That's disquieting, a good draining should not fail.. The starter jet is the fuel supply for the choke mechanism. Pull it on and you get extra fuel from the starter jet.. Just FYI..
Each year as winter approaches we get a group of new KLX owners describing cold start problems. Nothing new here. If the draining, shaking, dancing and prancing don't do the trick, drill the starter jet.
And if that doesn't work, suck start it.

Two Words....Corn Gas! Let's keep corn where it belongs...on the dinner table or in the cow troff.

I had to pull the main jet out a couple of months ago, first time ever. It was on my wife's XT 225. Stupid greenish crud.

Hahaha nice. Hey anyone check out the TV show Longmire? The Sheriff drinks Rainier!
Is it still brewed in Olympia Washington? I think they finally took down the big red R
I've been watching some Longmire on Netflix. It's a good series.
I don't think Rainier is brewed in WA any longer. Pabst now owns Rainier and Miller brews most of Pabst's beers.

The compression release is a hold over from the kick start only bikes, first KLX250R (94-95) and KLX300R.
So... Deej is alive, but can't spell (Troff?).. Lots of talk about a regional beer.. A TV/Netflix show.. Idaho.. And KLX768 wants to remind us of his his sig links and the uselessness of the KACR..
You gotta love this place..
