I had only minor trouble getting it back in. I do remember putting the cover on and it not looking quite right and also remembered the comments about it being a little finicky. It was tempting to just cinche the cover down, but I resisted that temptation, eased the cover back off, and worked the diaphram into position. I didn't use ice or anything like that, though. It one of those things that once you are aware of it, its not hard to deal with but it could be a tripping point if you've never done it before and nobody warned you about it beforehand.
