I contacted the manufacturer to verify the purpose of this hook. They said it's for Oldfart to make an a$$ out of himself.

well i have no idea what its for but 5 mins and a dremel and no more lil hook it was only getting in my way and i havnt knodised any difference riding the bike lol nothing has fell off or blew up so i guess its all good, i could be getting a bit more top speed with that lil bit of weight took off too but who knows :P

how bout the circle rubber on the front hub tyre..???

I bet the WR250 doesn't have that little hook...just sayin'
