So.... is there a place that is actually meant to hang a helmet on our 05/06's? I just wrap my strap around the hook underneath the passenger seat. . . . but it's not very secure . . .

 

I PUT ONE OF THE BUCKLE LOOPS AROUND A METAL BRACKET UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT. THEN PUT THE SEAT BACK ON AND LOCK IT DOWN. TOOK ME A FEW MINUTES TO FIGURE IT OUT.

 

I think i know what you're talking about. . . . the strap is long enough on the helmet to put the seat back on? I'l give it a try!

Dont ride witha helmet back there!!!

I went to pick up a female friend of mine one night and had the extra helmet strapped up so she would be safe when I picked her up. 4miles at most in between my place and hers. Now I have a nice rub mark in my paint where the helmet was resting that I can not stand to look at! Didnt take long. Just a precation to you. There are a few stunters around here and they ride around with there helmets strapped up then when they get to the spot, they put them on. Doesnt make much sense to me. Why not just wear the damn thing!!! Not that they are at all concerned about what there bikes look like anyway....

 

WORD! I've seen many a F'd rear from riding with a helmet strapped there.
