Two words for ya Iowa: Test Ride. Since you've already decided that the KLX250 was a little low on power for your liking, I'd test ride the TE 250 first before plunking down any cash. A dealer will tell you anything to make a sale: "Ricky Carmichael couldn't ride it, it's so powerfull!", "Chicks digblue and yellow bikes!", "Husqvarna owners regrow hair!" Even dealers that I was good friends with have "stretched" the truth. Take both the 250 and the 450 for a ride, then decide. Just my 2 cents.

Congrats on the sale, hope you got the $$ you wanted.

Do yourself a favor and really research your next purchase. I would try to find a used one thatsome body is selling and just act interested so you can test drive it (if the dealer wont let you).

It was the hair thing, wasn't it. My Kaswaski dealer told me the same thing. Every night I rub my head on the green fenders, but all I've gotten so far is a scab and a muddy head!
