i would like to think and hid would be a better bulb for vibration beings that a true hid consists if light emmitted much like a welding arc between two points as were a normal bulb is a cheap, filiment that is brittle and with much vibration could break causing bulb failure

I want to do this mod, but as my hid kit in my Saturn lasted 10 months and the company who warranty's it for a year won't answer me I dunno.
At least on the car I had two bulbs in case one failed :-) cheap xentec eBay POS
Perhaps the stock bulb hidden in the intake box for emergency back up.

Can anyone reassure me with a longer lasting kit?
One that fit the klx?

The xentec kit in my Chevy is going on 3 years, but the left one has always fluttered.
