Talk me out of getting a KLX.

I don't know why everyone is so down on the TU250. I know it's not a flashy bike or dual sport, but it's a cool retro bike.
After 20+ years out of motorcycling it was the TU250 that drew me back in. I loved the simplicity and retro styling that reminded me of bikes from the 70's. No other manufacturer makes a bike like it, except Triumph at 3 times the cost.
Unfortunately for me, the bike is 49-state or I would have bought one 3-years ago. Year after year I waited and hoped Suzuki would make it 50-state. Finally when the '12 model came out and it wasn't 50-state I got tired of waiting and changed gears. In hindsight I'm glad I did. I think I'm having more fun on the KLX then I would of ever had on the TU250. But if you have no desire to ride in the dirt I would consider it. I think it'll be a head turner from a lot of older guys who remember bikes like it.
Too unreliable, you would forever have your hand in your pocket

Your not going to be able to pull 220mph (350kmh) wheelies on a KLX.......
