It practically is, only 3k miles on it. It was such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up.

Mustang, I was never fond of the KLR250 or SS250's, but that was only because of the suspension. That SS250 engine was a fine little motor. I'll look forward to hear how she runs. And yes, that looks like an immaculate bike. She should enjoy it.

The Super Sherpa is definitely more street-biased. The rear shock actually isn't too bad, but the forks need help. Badly. They might work OK for my girlfriend, but even so, I'm definitely going to put in heavier fork springs and change the fork oil at the very least. I'm not that far yet, but I'm going to give John at Motion Pro a call and see what can be done.

Default rejetting the TM33-8012

hello, i know this is an old thread but here goes my question anyways. maybe someone is still listening
i have a 2000 ss and would like to do the carb swap originally described in this thread.
my question is : any airbox or airfilter mods? did you do change any jets? what are your carb settings? did you use the TM33-8012 straight out of the box?

thank you for this great info.

We ran ours out of the box, and it's so good I hesitate to mess with it.
