Wow, so what happens to the bike? My daughter got sideswiped which just scratched her car but the insurance company totaled it giving her a check for more then the car is worth and she got to keep her car, albeit with a salvage title. I'm curious how it would work with a motorcycle.

At least it wasn't the sock you were wearing, that would have been much worse.
I've lost pieces of my shoelace in there just this week, I thought my foot got hit by a rock.

Is this going to be a new reason not to buy a KLX? "Sock gets easily stuck in countershaft sprocket, ez fix, but you should get a drz400 instead"

sock likely got sucked in back by the rear wheel, cover over front sprocket could have added to the carnage? at least that's been my experience rocks sticks fence wire comm wire etc.
