cmon now i usually dont waver from the 6r forum but how can you complain about mileage on a dam dirt bike? my lifted dodge gets 13mpg and thats a v6 manual. hell my 6r driving it hard gets 30 last time i checked. be thankful of your good mileage.

wow...you guys have some impresive mileages there.....I keep a 5 gal. can under the tailgate of my truck so i can avoid a gas station durion the week.....last week cost me 17$ for my fuel and the can is still at least half full.......and i have 114 miles.........maybe my right arm is jacked up or something but....man i can't stay out of the throttle.....it's too much fun!!!!!! maybe if i baybied it or something i could do that.... but more than likley not.....either way...smile and twist it!!!!!!floor it.

I've never figured the MPG.
The TM33 (34), the HMF pipe, and the KDX snorkle, have produced a 250 that's a whole lot more fun to ride on the street and the dirt. I may have changed the MPG some with the Kenda 50/50 tread pattern. My riding is just about 50/50, and these tires have a more streetable profile than OEM tires.
IMO, safer for the street now also, as it has enough power to use acceleration at least partly as a situational advantage.
I'm seeing reserve required at 109 miles.
I also carry a fuel bottle with an additonal 1 Liter of fuel.

Im confused, I only get 30 mpg!!!! less than a 60 mile range. But I run 13/45 gearing in the 75% dirt.
