Ok, so I bought my KLX over the weekend and the previous owner was not the one who did all the upgrades, so I don't know what exactly was used to do the Supermoto conversion. I want to order Shinko 244's, but as I was looking at my Warp 9 wheels, I noticed that they look wider than the factory KLX250SF wheels. I want to order 244's in 3.00-17 F & 4.60-17 R, but if my wheels are wider will they fit properly or should I get 4.60-17 F & 5.10-17 R? I will ad a couple pics of my wheels and just for reference the wheels have these size tires on them 120/70/17 F & 140/70/17 R.
So I just measured the wheels with a caliper, as good as I could measure. It measures in the rear, 5.00" on the very outside lip and about 4.5" inside lip. Front measures 4.00" outside lip and about 3.75" inside lip. That seems wider than factory SF wheels?
Thanks
