Default To those with 17" wheels & tires

Has anyone with 17" wheels & tires compared the stock speedo to a GPS after doing so? I am interested to know how far off it is.

Might be a good time to switch to a Trailtech setup? Just change tire sizes as need be if you plan on swapping the 17's back and forth.

I haven't checked mine yet haven't had the wheels on for long time. Next time I'll have to look I normally just stay up with traffic.

On my bike with the stock wheels/tires the speedometer reads ~11% higher than my GPS (GPS 44.5 = Speedo 50). Going from a 21" wheel to a 17" wheel would make the speedo read ~19% higher so I would guesstimate after the change that the speedo would read close to 30% high.
