Sanity check before I order the wrong kit
I'm planning on buying a shim kit for my KLX250S (2007), and from what I can tell it takes 7.48mm shims. There are lots of them for the KX250, but when I put in my bike and year the sites are telling me the KX is not compatible with the KLX.
I'd be looking for the Hotcams or the the Procycle kit, but I don't want to be into the valve check thinking I had the right parts, and then get a bad surprise.
Can anyone confirm/deny that the KX shims will work for the KLX250S?
Thanks,
BP

Pretty sure the procycle page has it listed for your bike: Kawasaki KLX250S Parts, Performance, & Accessories - ProCycle
It is the hotcam kit sold by Procycle
Hope that helps, I'm checking valves soon as well.
you can find the kit also around the interwebs for $65 or so, not sure about shipping

Thanks, Paul. I did a comparison on part numbers and the KX and the KLX have the same part number for the valve shims. So, I'm just going to go for it. If I have problems I will be sure to post!
