hey guys I got another ?, I am not familiar with like four stroke carbs what all do I need afterthe exhaust? I know u guys said rejetting what does that entale and like how much and what do I need? I don't want to ruin the bike fomr putting the exhaust I want to make it run ok and sound kind of nice and what does tat snorkle that everyone says to put on do? just some?'s thanks and sorry for dealin with a newbie lol thanks

 

Hi Seanman,

The jetting isn't difficult. The hardest part is getting the carb in and out (it's a little tight). Some guys have bought the dyno kit which includes an adjustable needle, and a couple diffent size main jets. I believe it's around $70 (Part # 2206). Or you could buy the jets, and an adjustable needle from Kawasaki (tis cheaper).

The snorkel is the, well snorkel looking thing that comes out of the top of your airbox. Some guys have removed the entire lid, others have drilled holes in the lid and some have replaced the snorkel with the KDX snorkel which is less restictive. Kawi part # 14073-1577--------Duct, Inlet about $27.

Hey man see how far it sticks out did u have ne problem with the rear plastic fitting back over the pipe and how close was it ?
