Default Rim Locks

I'm installing my rim locks, and on the rear tire I notice a slight bulge on the sidewall, which I would think is normal. But, the front seems like excessive. Anyone else with the same problem?

BTW, they are Motion Pro 1.85 rim locks.

OK, I found the answer to my question, the dealer told me the 1.85 is what I needed. He said that was the smallest size. Nope, 1.65 is generally used on 21 inch front tires. So, if you're going to install rim locks:

Size 1.85 Rear
Size 1.65 Front

Well that sure saved me some effort!

When I put the Kenda 270's on the KLX - 3.25 on the front and 5.10 on the back - they will have rim locks in them. A 1.85 on the rear and a 1.65 on the front.

Thanks for the "Heads Up!"

I was just curious, why didn't these bikes come from the manufacturar with the rim locks on them, don't most dirt bikes (this pretty much is a dirt bike) come with the rim locks on them because they run lower tire pressure??

They do come "Rim Lock Ready", unlike most other dualsports where you need to drill the rim.

Now you know what the other hole in the rim is for!
