Rim lock torque? Tire pressure with rim locks?

Rim lock torque? Tire pressure with rim locks?
OK I just put on rim locks, but I didn't want to over tighten and break them. These are the Motion Pro cast metal rim locks. Any advice on how tight to tighten them? I have them snugged pretty good, about where I think they should be.
On a related note I plan on running lower air pressure in the tires. I usually run them up at about 22#. I aired them down to 18# for now. I don't want to go too low and pinch a tube. What do you guys run for air pressure with your rim locks?
Thanks ,
Dan

After a few flats for various reasons and a bit of adjusting 15 psi for me seems about optimal. That way I can go from beaches to road without having to think about adjusting.
I just tightened the rimlock until tight?

Yeah, it's not a massively critical torque value like say cam journal caps, but you'd be surprised what some think "just tightened" means. We've changed tires at the shop and have seen them so tight they nearly came through the tire bead. And some of the rim locks have relatively blunt contact surfaces and some have highly serrated edges, so it can make more of a difference sometime. Look at the sharp edges on my Tubliss rim lock. You could literally cut the bead with some heavy torqueing.

Thanks for the replies fellers. I googled the torque thing and got anywhere from finger tight to 20 lbs for answers. 15 sounds good, I'll see how that feels on the rim lock.
