Default RE: RAC Northeast riding?

QuiteThumper,

Does the 15T spocket fit under the stock chain cover or did you remove it? I'd like to see what mine would do with the 15T. I'm gettingabout 94mph with14/39 and 17" wheels. I don't have theprone to read highanalog speedo either, so it's pretty much spot-on.

"what top end can you get with the 15/42"

I don't know 80-85mph is as fast as "I" am willing to go on this little bike...lol

Tremor, The plastic gaurd fits over the 15 fine but, the metal guide does not. I believe the metal guide is to keep the chain from slapping up off the front gear... if You are running on road only I would think you could run the chain slightly tighter and not worry about needing the metal guide/gaurd? Unless You are compressing the suspension enough to need the loose chain...

Cool, thanks for the info. Yeah I run with the chain a bit tighter because I rarely run the bike in dirt. Where did you order the 15T from?

Thanks. I going to order one to see the difference when cruising at around 70-75mph. It should lower the RPM back into the comfort zone and make a big difference in gas mileage for longer trips on the toll roads.
