Default quick throttle, push pull

i have been reading different posts about the vortex throttle and was looking into buying one. i had just purchased a honda crf150r for my son and its a handfull. i noticed it has a true 1/4 turn throttle push pull. so i decided i would swap them, quick turn for me, control for him. the throttle bolted right up. only thing i had to do was let out a little cable (carb side) to account for the larger radius of the throttle cam. i'm not sure how easy these are to find but its a good alternative and safer than swapping to a single cable pull only. you will need the entire throttle, housing and cam. the larger cam will not fit in the stock klx250s housing. also the crf150r housing has a standoff tab to keep it away from the master cylinder. i cut it off with a dremel tool. if anyone happens to have a crf150r and wants to do the swap, know that the honda cables have bigger ferrels that will have to be filed down to fit in the klx250s housing.

as you were.
