does everyone realize that a dyno run is a guide???
you can put a bike on 2 different dynos and will get 2 different results on the same day with the same conditions.
ALSO, you can run the same bike on the same dyno back to back and get different results.
with our little motors searching for .5 hp is tough on a dyno. you could be changing jets all day long.

im taking the bike to get dyno tuned Wednesday ill post up my sheet when i get it.

Any chance you'd get few runs done with different air box settings?
Stock / KDX snorkel / lid off. My offer to chip in few bucks is still standing.

i dont have a kdx snorkel. but i could ask the guy if he would do it with the snorkel removed and with the lid completely off.

Shoot, the KDX snorkel would have been really interesting case.

But still, no lid, lid but no snorkel, with stock snorkel are all worth testing.
I'm betting the results are going to be bit surprising.

What other work you've done on the bike? Big bore? Pipe?

PM me to discuss the contribution to cover the dyno cost.
If we get good A vs. B vs. C plots out of this, I'm ready to fork out the money.

I'm willing to bet you'll see very little difference with KDX snorkel in vs no snorkel, almost not worth the money IMO.

Ive just got a 2brothers slipon twin air no screen. no smog. and the dj kit. ive got a sf. ill have him do a run with the lid with no snorkel and no lid at all. im not gonna go through all the bs to get the stock snorkel back in.

+1, that's probably the most sensible thing to do, unless you want to throw money around. In which case feel free to throw it at me!
