push cable removal
Was changing bars and decided I'd remove the push throttle cable. It can make putting throttle back together a frustration so you tend not to clean it out often as one should. The throttle also turns easier without it.
If you ever tried it you'll know that you end up with a massive amount of freeplay that can barley be adjusted out. Here's the simple fix I came up with.
I used a small piece of 1/8" rubber vacuum to make a new physical throttle stop to keep the freeplay in check. There is a little "o" or "c" molded into the plastic, I cut my hose to that point. A couple dot's of superglue then push the hose into place and holding it down all the way in the contour of the housing. That's it, pretty simple.
