What is the easiest way to remove the steering cable from a Kaw. 900 stx jet ski????

 

i have a 2001 900 sts and i had to change mine it was not that bad .

first take the steering wheel off unless you can get your hand over the oil tank to release the holder clips ,it was easyer for me to take the wheel off , at the back just release the holder clip for the cable there on the impeller {mine had 2 cables one was revers .once you have the back undone just start pulling it out ,.take your time
