yeah, I've heard the zipper problem too. an easy fix is to velcro it down into the lock position (the way it sits on the jacket it tends to pop out of the unlocked position. also, go for the regular (sp1?) pressure suit, it offer quite a bit more protection. i've been advised against the sp2 by numerous people as it has softer armour and iscut/designed for skinny people (unless your a skinny guy, then rock on!)

and damit if I didn't run all the way out to cyclegear and that particular store doesn't have a single thor product in their showroom....odd considering they carry most of the line-up online.

Your right about suit size. And I'm not skinny so the SP-1 would be more my speed. As for the using velcro on the Thor Impact Rig SE sounds like the way to go. Out of the two which do you think is the best suit?

I have the 661 SP2 and am pretty happy with it. I haven't had any high-speed get-offs, but quite a few low-speed spills (:-P), and no injuries to speak of.

Onething that I was looking for was collar bone protection (I was shopping around shortly after NoBrakes had his little mishap), and the 661 SP2 is lacking in that respect. I still went for it instead of a chest protector, though, because I felt it provided adequateand comfortable upper body protection, instead of very good, but bulky chest & shoulderprotection (but that's just my opinion).

As far as road protection, it might better than a demin jacket, but mesh or leather are the way to go for serious protection.

I've got a 661 Pressure Suit. I find it fits just OK. Not as good as individual elbow / shoulder pads do. Another thing I found out is that there is neoprene in it. If you're alergic to neoprene (like me) you'll break out in a very itchy rash that takes 2+ weeks to get rid of. Divers have this problem with their wet suits (do a search). Anyone want a size large cheap? Used only twice.Cheers.
