Default Possible oil starvation?

My bike made a new high-pitched noise when the starter was starting the bike. I turned it off and noticed that my oil was below the low oil line, probably about 250ml under when I started filling it up.

The starter noise persisted for a few days and then went away. I've put about 200km on since and everything is working fine. What are the odds that I caused some bearing damage? Is it worth getting it inspected? I've been thinking about selling this bike and I don't want to dump a time bomb on anyone.

The KLX engine has roller bearings on all of its rotating surfaces EXCEPT the camshafts.
That's the only part of the engine that can sustain damage as the result of low/no oil pressure.
I doubt that's what was making noise-it wouldn't go away.

Thanks for the peace of mind. I should have the top apart later this year for a proper look around in there.
