Rode it the first time this saturday, nice bike, keeping it under 4k rpm
is really hard, little bit gas shift little bit gas shift... i showed up at the
mva to take the skills test but they now require appointments

the bike purrs like a kitten, i had a guy from PA driving with me (since
i only have a LP), his KTM was so loud i couldn't hear my bike at all

i can't wait to get the license, i wanna riiiiiiiide

anyone got tips where in the us i can get fiberglass, the goods stuff,
not the advanceautoparts "try to fix your car" stuff?

i had some sweet ideas last night

@lcpl > there are tons of things you can do with fiberglass

@vlodpf > i've heard that from the guy who was riding with me yesterday,
i didn't really break in my old bikes, and never had troubles with them...

i'm sure once i have my license i'll go over 4k rpm every now and then

If you ain't going 4k you are either crawling through some tight trailsOr you are following the ridiculous factory break in. I tried that with 2 miles on the clock & would have gotten run over if I continued.

My bike has had the exaust & carb upgraded. It now revs easily to 8k easily & is now what I call snappy!

For the good glass stuff go see an autobody wholesaler.I have a local place called Thornton auto works and they special in oldsmobile restorations only.He is also a product wholesaler.
The usual auto parts places have junk. The quality places will be able to sell you the quality 3M products...(ex. Fusor) we use Fusor to attach the fenders to the bare hoods of big rigs (yep that's all that holds them on!)
Just google MSF class and you will get results for the info you want for the class.
here ya go...I'll put the link at the bottom...hope it works.

With over 1500 RiderCourse sites throughout the United States, there's probably one near you. Some points to consider when selecting a Training Site: [ul][*]The MSF Basic RiderCourse is designed as a 15-hour curriculum that takes place over a few days or consecutive weekends. However, some locations listed here add additional modules of instruction/discussion that lengthen the class.[*]Most locations issue an MSF RiderCourse Completion Card. Upon successful completion of the RiderCourse, some states, not all, will waive the on-bike riding skills test and/or the written test required to obtain your motorcycle operator's license or endorsement.[*]Please note that many states will not accept an MSF RiderCourse Completion Card issued from another state or from the Military. [/ul]Be sure to ask the Training Site you've selected about these details before you enroll in a RiderCourse.

@vlodpg> problem is the speedlimit was only 35, so i couldnt really
go much faster than 40-45... thats about 4k rpm... i'll make sure the
engine warms up and than i'll give it some more...

its hard though, maryland just got hit by icerain...i hope the weekend
will be ok, i wanna riiiiiiiiiiiide, only 14 miles so far

i'll order the FMF pipe for the 250s, i guess 350 isn't bad for a slipon
and the dynosheets i saw don't look bad at all, what else would i have
to change? rejet?

The DBs shouldn't be alot higher too...

@skylinegtst > thats true, i don't wanna give the other ppl in my community
a hard time but i bike has to sound better than a scooter with a hole in the exhaust

@ Truckman > Thank you, i uses wigopal products in austria (20 kg barrels) and
also their gel and topcoats

i got an appointment at the mva on thursday, hopefully the weather will
be ok, the long weekend is coming, i HAVE to be ready if it clears up...
