Alright, o-ring problem solved! Kind of a weird thing happened at Wal-Mart tonight, I went to get a Fram filter just to get the o-ring (I'll save the filter for next time), and they didn't have any of the CH6015 filters. So just as I was about to give up I decided to look at their "corner of crap" as I call it, where they throw all the unpurchased old stuff and mark it way down. Went over there and couldn't believe it, in the random mix of crap they actually had a bunch of Fram CH6015 filters. So I bought a couple of them for $5 a piece and went home to put in the new o-ring. Couldn't believe how easy the oil filter cap slid in with the Fram o-ring. So apparently Wix just has some quality control issues because some people said Wix o-ring worked just fine, but one other guy said they had issues with their o-rings too. Either way, bike is running again, no oil is leaking out, and....

I will never take this o-ring off again (unless it starts leaking). Thanks everyone for all the help.

Oh, by the way, 1995 KLX650 and never changed the O-ring in over 45000 miles.
