Default Oil appears to be leaking out of crankcase vent?

I noticed I had some oil leaking from my filler cap today but the cap was loose so I'm not worried about that after giving it a good tighten..

But I also noticed a bit of oil all around the crankcase vent almost like it's leaking from the hose?

Here are some pictures to better describe it..Is this something I should be worried about or is it normal?

There was oil all around the crankcase vent I just wiped a bit away with my finger to make sure it was oil...

It could be oil that the wind/airflow around the engine drew the filler cap oil to the back of the engine there. I'm guessing you didn't see this until you had the loose filler cap.

The other possibility is that some type of crankcase draw was increased because of the venting of the filler cap. It's also not unusual to for some oil to seep out that rubber airbox vent, but it's more often the result of some air filter oil leeching out of the filter.

Mine attracts dirt in the same way. It's not quite that messy but it sweats a bit, never been a concern.

Of course it is a breather too. Oil mist comes out of it, not just air. It's going to collect somewhere.

Not only are motorcycles air pumps in function, but they are also hydraulic systems pumping oil around inside. Hydraulic systems WILL leak some oil somewhere, sometime ... it's just gonna happen.
