Default New turns/brake light from BD

I installed all new LED turn signals and rear brake light from Baja Designs.
The rear light assembly took some fabrication as it is a generic piece.

I also got a new handle bar to install, but they did not send my hand guards with the order. Don't know what's up with that.

I got 14 months out of the led module on mine before the leds started to fail. Not all at once but afew at a time... clear lens starting to get foggy also.

I silicone sealed up the wiring inlet thinking it would do the trick b/c I heard of the problem before. Second time sealed up the mount screw holes too. Best of luck - looks good on the klx

Tip - Run a bead of super glue around the seam where the grey plastic meets the clear lens. It will help stop the moisture from getting in. I didn't try that on the first one.

At least you can buy the led module separately and not pay for the whole tail light assembly.

DRC's Edge tail light looks better, IMO. Haven't had any water intrusion issues with it either. That one looks like it was pulled off a WR250R/X.

To each his own though. We all have different taste. Same thing with the blinkers. I think those look, well, metrosexual to put it lightly. Maybe it's just the generation gap, I dunno, but petite and feminine on a man's dirt bike just doesn't look right to me.

I must be out of touch though. Back to our regularly scheduled program.

I like the small turn signals because they are less likely to break. They don't hang out there in space just begging to get snapped off. I think they look modern, where the old round ones are dated, although that wasn't the purpose for buying them.
I'll seal up that light with something for sure. It hasn't seen any moisture yet, so maybe I can make this one last.
