Default RE: New KLX250 Mistake ???

From a bone stock perspective: I have about 1300 miles on mine so far, have done no performance mods, only added a Clarke tank and beefed up brush guards. The bike has perked up quite a bit compared to the boggy feeling it had right off the showroom floor. The sound is still pretty weak, but it does sound a little more throaty too (not sure why though). One of these days I'll cough up and do some mods to it, probably exhaust and rejet first, see how that goes, run it for a while, let some more miles pile up, then I'll probably start thinking about bumping up to the 331 and pumper carb.
